Chaplaincies
Our Archdiocese supports a number of chaplaincies in various parts of Australia.
University ChaplainciesThere is one university chaplaincy currently in place in our Archdiocese.
Monash University: Appointed in October 2006, Rev. Fr Geoff Harvey is the University Chaplain for Orthodox students at Monash University, Clayton Campus, in Melbourne, Victoria.
Fr Geoff is also the parish priest of Good Shepherd Orthodox Mission, which began worshipping at the Monash University chapel on 22/Oct/2006. For more information, contact Rev. Fr Geoff Harvey on 0417 012551 or visit the

Bond University. Appointed in 2008, Rev. Fr Raymond Smith is being appointed as Chaplain to Bond University, Gold Coast, Queensland. This is in addition to his pastorate at the Parish of St Barnabas the Apostle. For more information, contact Rev. Fr Raymond on 5573 7977.
Military ChaplaincyThere is currently one military chaplain in our Archdiocese. In January 2008, Rev. Fr John D'Alton was accepted as the first Antiochian Orthodox military chaplain in the Australian Armed Forces.
